Job Description

• Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
• Teach English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing techniques, and oral communication.
• Assess student progress regularly through tests, assignments, and verbal feedback.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and language proficiency levels.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages active learning.
• Organize language-related activities such as debates, drama, presentations, and reading sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and development.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and school administrators to improve instructional practices.
• Provide individual support and feedback to students as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and technological tools for language learning.

Requirements

• NCE or Bachelors degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a school or language institution.
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds is an advantage.
• Good command of the English language both spoken and written.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Patience, adaptability, and creativity in lesson delivery.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
