Job Description
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and learning activities aligned with early childhood development goals.
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes a love for learning.
- Foster social, emotional, and behavioral growth through positive reinforcement, structured routines, and clear expectations.
- Assess and document childrens progress through observations and developmental checklists.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom events.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistent delivery of the curriculum and care standards.
- Participate in school meetings, training, and professional development activities.
- Adhere to the schools policies, child protection and safeguarding procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- A Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching or caring for preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of early years development frameworks e.g., EYFS or Montessori, if applicable.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work as part of a team.
